Awakening and the Power of Siddhis Through Herbs

12 Siddhis and Astrology

The word. " siddhi " means " success " & the process undergone to achieve this is called " sadhana. In this case we are referring to acheiving success in all areas of human life represented by the 12 different divisions/ houses in the horoscope.

The divisions have been catagorised into 12 areas of life or 12 houses of the horoscope or 12 sun signs or 12 months or the 12 Adityas (12 suns) or the 12 thoracic vertabrae of the vertaebral column.

There are 12 petals in the anahata chakra (heart chakra) & 12 petals on the innermost circle of the sahasraar (means 1000) petalled lotus at the crown chakra at the top of the head. Shree 1008 are referring to siddhis of the crown chakra.

Actually, siddhis mean opening of the petals of the crown. Shree 108 refers to the opening of the Ajna Chakra (third eye chakra). There are 33 vertabrae representing 12 Adityas, 11 Rudras, 8 Vasus, Indra & Prajapati (progenitor of.the races of the devas, humans, animals, plants & asuras). The vertaebral column supports all visceral & organ functions of the human body. This houses the spine which.is connected to the seven chakras of the body (actually there are 9 chakras; only those who are advanced in spiritual sadhanas awaken all nine).

12 petals at the innermost circle of the crown chakra are connected to the 12 petals at the.anahata chakra by a golden tube. This.is how blessings are transferred from the crown to the heart & then.distributed to the hands to.transfer blessings. Activation of this.whole area confers one with siddhis to.meet the challanges.destiny provides.in the life of each person. Prayer,.spiritual sadhanas, performance of good karmas, performing remedies with the hands & feet causes this area to be activated.

Quote on Classification of Siddhis

Nine main siddhis According to Puranas

  1. Parkaya Pravesha: Parkaya Pravesh means one’s soul entering into the body of some other person. Through this knowledge even a dead body can be brought to life.
  2. Haadi Vidya: This Vidya or knowledge has been mentioned in several ancient texts. On acquiring this Vidya, a person feels neither hunger nor thirst, and can remain without eating food or drinking water for several days at a stretch.
  3. Kaadi Vidya: Just as one does not feel hungry or thirsty in Haadi Vidya, similarly in Kaadi Vidya a person is not affected by change of seasons, i.e. by summer, winter, rain, etc. After accomplishing this Vidya, a person shall not feel cold even if he sits in the snow-laden mountains, and shall not feel hot even if he sits in the fire.
  4. Vayu Gaman Siddhi: Through this Siddhi a person can become capable of flying in the skies and traveling from one place to another in just a few seconds.
  5. Madalasa Vidya: On accomplishing this Vidya, a person becomes capable of increasing or decreasing the size of his body according to his wish. Lord Hanuman had miniaturized his body through this Vidya while entering the city of Lanka.
  6. Kanakdhara Siddhi: One can acquire immense and unlimited wealth through this Siddhi.
  7. Prakya Sadhana: Through this Sadhana a Yogi can direct his disciple to take birth from the womb of a woman who is childless or cannot bear children.
  8. Surya Vigyan: This solar science is one of the most significant sciences of ancient India[citation needed]. This science has been known only to the Indian Yogis; using it, one substance can be transformed into another through the medium of sun rays.
  9. Mrit Sanjeevani Vidya: This Vidya was created by Guru Shukracharya. Through it, even a dead person can be brought back to life.

Perfection in small things

What you have heard about siddhis is not exact, and not the right concept. You have been given either too high a concept about siddhis or too low; neither are right. 'Siddha' means to fulfil, to perfect, as when it is said in day to day life, 'You have to make your action siddha.' When you perfect and complete something, that is siddhi.

For example, suppose you have a disease such as diabetes. Now, for you, to cure this disease is to obtain a siddhi, the perfection of a completely healthy state. How can we obtain this state, this little siddhi? This is why we practise asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, concentration, mantra japa and the purification techniques of hatha yoga, such as neti, kunjal and shankhaprakshalana. The little siddhis are not what you understand as miracles; they are the result of perfection in one's practice. The best method of attaining perfection is through regularity.

Therefore, even if you practise Sirshasana for only one and a half minutes, or shashankasana for three minutes or just sing kirtan every evening, you should do it with absolute regularity. You can fix the time to fit into your work and family situation, but then that time should be kept every day. You should not get up today at 4 a.m. during brahmamuhurta and then tomorrow at 9 a.m. and another day at midnight. This type of irregularity just will not work.
The first niyama in yoga is to become niyamit, regular. It is the greatest samyama, the greatest achievement. Be regular in all your activities, not only sadhana. Be regular in bathing, eating and sleeping, which none of you are. When you are irregular, then the body behaves in the same manner.

Regularity works in the same way as crystallisation. When you put a drop of water in a freezer, after fifteen days it will have grown in size. And so it will happen in the course of time, perhaps after one year, that you will notice many little changes in yourself. You will behave better with your children and be more polite with your boss and subordinates, not trying to hurt others physically or having bitter feelings mentally. These are all little siddhis which will occur.

Memory siddhi

There is one simple pranayama which is very important and useful, especially for business people who have a lot of responsibility. This is brahmari pranayama, in which you plug your ears and shut the lips, separate the teeth, and make the sound of Om, opening the mouth.

The sound becomes like the humming of a bee. After doing brahmari pranayama ten or eleven times, you will find that you are not experiencing as much pain in the body as you felt prior to the practice. Neither will you feel as angry or as insecure as you did before. Why?
Because this little technique, inhaling deeply and then producing the sound of Om with the breath, creates vibrations inside the body which change the mental patterns of the brain.

The brain has two hemispheres, and they are always generating energy which flows in particular directions. If you breathe deeply and produce the sound of Om in a certain way, then the movement of this energy changes. This affects everything happening in the body, right from the thoughts up to the secretions of the glands, If some secretions are deficient then they are increased, and if they are in excess then they are decreased. Everything is balanced.

What happens on the emotional level is that any agitation, fatigue, fear or insecurity is calmed down and the thoughts become clear. Old, long forgotten memories become fresh again, not the memories of death, violence or unpleasant things, but of those things which you would like to remember. Of course, you don't wish to be reminded of your work, of somebody who has died, or of times when you have been insulted, hurt or harmed. No, that is the wrong memory. But the pure memories come, keen and sharp. This is one of the small siddhis, not one of the great, miraculous siddhis which you always hear about.

Person Is Enlightened or Using Siddhis

Powers of Consciousness

Great Personalities

Jesus,Prophets.Babaji, Shiva and Agastyar, are siddha or spiritual perfected master  who have   developed awareness of their higher self (God). siddha also understand how to cocreate. They have mastered major siddhis (spiritual powers) and became enlivened through freedom of karma as incarnate of divinity.

A siddha so powerful that he or she could become recognized as able to be God, is also the nature of the level of divinity that reflects conscious development through most of the omnis (Omnipresence, Omnscience, Omnipotency, and Omnitemporalness).

Divinity (the self) which is God, is also by nature your existence. Higher soul potential (altering environment, co-creating and manifesting, or even becoming deathless) are all things that do not do anything less than demonstrating a potential of Godliness.

Can you become the Source, Godhead or even Almighty? The Source, Almighty, Godhead or Creator and Initiator of Big Bang, although your Soul, can never be attained.

While you can become God (even if you were realized as the big wave in the sea) you may never become Almighty. An almighty is something that through examination of GOD is something that those who come before you and were realized understand is something that become divine does not mean became the Almighty. Although you are able to become all powerful, all knowing, everlasting, or even ever present, and become an embodiment of Source of GOD, one may never through spiritual work, labor or alchemistry become as far reaching as Almighty.

Does this mean that one should not move to higher realizations or have goals to become like the Almighty? No way! One should have three main Goals (Spiritual, Materialistic, and Health/Longevity), it is the nature of some of the greatest source of aspirations and goals that one chooses a spiritual goal to reflect a desire to become Godlike.

A reflection on the highest sources of Goals is something that in this new year should you not have created and worked on goals yet, would be an ideal time to micromanage large goals, breaking them down into smaller more manageable goals.

Having picked no less than three main goals (health, spirituality, and materialistic) begin to work towards these desires. A desire which may be large can be broken down into smaller more manageable goals. In this way one could have a lofty goal (become like God) that through effort could be broken and managed through smaller realizations (become realized of complete chakra system, learn how to become Omniscient, Omnitemporal, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent, then become Godlike).Through taking smaller manageable steps to become more divine one will progress to higher realizations.
